The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, affirming a Georgia district court’s decision, has decided that an exclusion in a life insurance policy’s accidental death rider was not ambiguous and barred coverage where an overdose of prescription medicine contributed to the insured’s death.
