An appellate court in California has affirmed a trial court’s decision rejecting the lawsuit filed against a life insurance company by a divorced wife (and her children) after she discovered that her former husband had surrendered a life insurance policy before his death notwithstanding that their divorce decree had obligated him to maintain the policy for her benefit and the benefit of the children.
