Many of you are excited about returning to headquarters offices, if you have not done so already. This month’s column addresses everyone else, and offers a little advice for the companies employing them.

First, I must make it crystal clear that I am not commenting on health concerns related to going back. General counsel will not pressure their staff attorneys to return in the current climate, even where workplace distancing protocols are in place. And many companies won’t even be offering the traditional office option until later in the year after we are further along in the vaccination process.
