Little Monsters (aka devoted fans of Lady Gaga) were likely outraged this morning if they tried to access the eccentric pop artist’s YouTube channel, which displayed a message reading: “This account has been suspended due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube’s Copyright Policy.”

According to Billboard, Gaga’s YouTube account was taken down because of a 10-minute video showcasing the singer’s performance on “SMAP x SMAP,” a Japanese TV show featuring a popular boy band.

Japanese media company Media Interactive Inc. filed a copyright infringement claim, saying the video clip was copyrighted and couldn’t be posted to Gaga’s account. YouTube granted the company’s takedown request, and Gaga’s spokespeople have no comment.
