A judge has delayed until next year a several-year-long patent infringement case against Austin-based energy storage developer Valence Technology Inc.
Valence (Nasdaq: VLNC) was founded in 1989 and employs about 490 people. U.S. District Court Judge Sam Sparks last week approved the parties’ Special Master’s Report, which sets definitions for terms in the claims regarding two patents. Hydro-Quebec filed the lawsuit against certain lithium phosphate products.
