Practice Profile: Alex Spiro handles a combination of civil and criminal matters in both state and federal courts. On the criminal side, he has worked on cases ranging from bank fraud and stock market/securities fraud, to date rape and murder, to civil rights advocates who are arrested at protests. On the civil end, he has worked on wrongful death cases and Title IX lawsuits against universities. He has also represented a number of sports professionals from the NBA, NFL and MLB in criminal and civil matters.
Leadership, Pro Bono and Civic Work: Alex devotes much time to helping those with psychiatric disorders. He has worked on numerous cases of individuals with autism, and works with the Asperger/Autism Network to help people with Asperger syndrome and similar spectrum profiles to build meaningful lives.
