Anthony “Tony” Buzbee has made known his pet causes in the past. With billboards, Buzbee tried earlier this year to get Johnny “Football” Manziel to Houston when Manziel left Texas A&M University’s team to go pro. Now, the new Aggie law school has won Buzbee’s heart.

Buzbee and his Houston law firm gave $1 million to fund an endowment at Texas A&M School of Law in Fort Worth, the school announced on April 23. Buzbee, who was an undergraduate at Texas A&M University in College Station and graduated from the University of Houston Law Center, serves on the Texas A&M board of regents.
