In a billion-dollar lawsuit filed on behalf of thousands of alleged terrorism victims and their families, a federal judge in Brooklyn has sanctioned Arab Bank for its lack of good-faith discovery efforts.

Eastern District Judge Nina Gershon ruled in Linde v. Arab Bank, 04 CV 2799, that the jury in the upcoming trial may infer that the bank provided financial services to organizations designated by the United States as Foreign Terrorist Organizations and distributed payments to terrorists on behalf of the Saudi Committee for the Support of the Intifada al Quds.
