Ropes & Gray has hired back a transactions lawyer as a Shanghai partner in its life science group.

Eric Wu was most recently Asia Pacific M&A regional counsel for pharmaceutical and consumer goods giant Johnson & Johnson Services Inc., where he oversaw the company’s mergers and acquisitions in the region and legal matters related to its Asia Pacific Innovation Center—a Shanghai-based accelerator for early-stage technologies.
