Vickie L. Willard

Vickie Willard is board certified through testing by the Board of Forensic Document Examiners (BFDE), an FSAB accredited board. She has provided services to attorneys, law enforcement agencies, federal and county public defenders, legal aid institutions, corporations, insurance agencies, unions, security firms and others for more than 35 years. She is a past president of Board of Forensic Document Examiners, past president of the Association of Forensic Document Examiners and served as a Director on the Forensic Specialties Accreditation Board.

Opinions have been rendered on documents requiring signature authentication, identifying writers, hand printing (anonymous letters, graffiti), suspected alterations of documents, non-destructive ink comparison and other aspects of disputed documents.

Testimony has been provided as a handwriting expert and document examiner in state courts, U.S. District Courts, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, U.S. Tax Court, and arbitration. Testimony has been provided on behalf of plaintiffs, defendants, prosecutors, and criminal defense attorneys in more than 150 court proceedings.
