Dr. Pamela McCauley is a full professor and Director of the Ergonomics Laboratory in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Central Florida. She is also President at T-STEM Inc. providing expert witnessing in the areas of product liability, biomechanics, ergonomics, human engineering, human factors, and occupational safety.
Dr. McCauley previously served on the faculty of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Humans and Automation Division of the Department of Astronautics and Aeronautics where she focused on human factors issues in aeronautic applications.
Dr. McCauley is an experienced expert witness with over 20 years of experience as a researcher and practicing ergonomist. She has published over 80 technical papers in scientific journals. Dr. McCauley recently authored a textbook in the area of ergonomics published by Taylor & Francis, titled Ergonomics: Foundational Principles, Applications and Technologies.
Dr. McCauley has served as a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Theoretical Issues in Ergonomics Sciences (TIES), Associate Editor of the Industrial Engineering Encyclopedia and referees technical research papers for the Industrial Engineering Research Conference (IERC), IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics, the International Journal of Industrial Hygienist and numerous other scientific journals.
