Areas of Expertise: Forensic reconstruction of design and construction failures, including code compliance, life safety aspects, slips and falls, handrail and stairway design, construction documents and contract administration, standards of care and ADA compliance, and property line disputes.

Litigation experience: Defective architectural plans, defense of architects/contractors, construction assemblies, injury involving such life safety elements as stairs, guardrails and handrails. Was recently a Court appointed expert in a case that involved a dispute between two neighbors, consulting to the DOJ (Dept. of Justice) in a matter that involved the VA (Veterans Administration) and ADA codes, ADA codes as applied to a HOA (Home Owners Association). Recent cases: defend an architect (deposed and case settled); a neighbors’ dispute over a joint-use elevator built over the property line (deposed and court testimony).
