Dr. Archer has broad experience in clinical pediatric cardiology, expert case review and testimony, public speaking, medical writing and editing, leadership, and teaching. His expertise includes outpatient and inpatient pediatric cardiology, echocardiography, fetal cardiology, sports cardiology, pulmonary hypertension, exercise testing, complications of Covid-19, POTS/autonomic dysfunction, and chest wall abnormalities. He is board certified in Pediatric Cardiology and General Pediatrics, and currently practices in Montana, serving patients from a wide geographic region. His leadership roles have included director of pediatric specialty medicine at a regional medical system and director of outpatient pediatric cardiology at a large academic center with a top-ten congenital heart program. He is reviewer for multiple scientific journals, and sits on the Dynamed specialty editorial board, where he has contributed to over 30 monographs. His own research focuses on congenital heart disease in premature infants.
