Comprehensive Cataract and Refractive Surgeon, with 23+ years of clinical/surgical experience. Over 20,000 restorative ocular surgeries performed and has developed a reputation for excellent surgical outcomes and patient rapport. Patient education is integral to his success as a surgeon, often having to explain complex medical conditions to anxious and apprehensive patients. Excellent communication skills allows him to effectively educate those without extensive medical knowledge.

He graduated manga cum laude from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed residency training at Wills Eye Hospital (Top 3 Residency Program for past 30 years). He then completed a one-year Fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at the University of Utah's John A. Moran Eye Center.

To complement his clinical practice, he has been principal investigator in multiple FDA studies, demonstrating precision and close attention to detail. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO - MOC) and a Charter Fellow of the World College of Refractive Surgery and Visual Sciences (newly established board of Refractive Surgery. He has served on the WA State Society Board (WAEPS) for the past three years, and currently serves on the Northwest Momentum Health Partners ACO Board.
