James Hastings has 20 years’ experience in taxation, appearing in the U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and California Superior Court representing plaintiffs with tax practitioner malpractice suits, business litigation, and estate and trust claims.
In addition, he advises litigators with creative tax strategies in pleading, discovery, damages calculations, and writing legal settlements.
James is an adjunct professor to Golden Gate University School of Law where he taught Professional Responsibility for Tax Practitioners.
