A Delaware biotechnology company, locked in a trade secrets dispute with one of the state’s top research institutions, owns all of the technology its former partner developed for more than a decade, the Court of Chancery ruled last week.

Vice Chancellor Tamika Montgomery-Reeves’ ruling settled a “threshold question” in a case in which Delaware-based iBio Inc. accuses nonprofit Fraunhofer USA of breach of contract and sharing its trade secrets with a competitor.
