Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell partner Melissa DiVincenzo is scheduled to co-present a session at the University of Texas’ Mergers and Acquisitions Institute on Oct. 5.
DiVincenzo’s session is titled “More Kicking and Screaming: Developments in Drag Alongs and Other Minority Stockholder Squeeze Out Techniques.” Panelists will provide perspectives from the standpoint of both the minority ownership and the majority ownership, in a discussion on planning for, implementing and, as necessary, resolving disputes related to situations involving minority ownership stakes. Speakers will also review recent developments and current best practices in dealing with issues that range from orderly process to confrontation, according to a press announcment from Morris Nichols.
