Delaware attorney general nominee Kathleen Jennings visited the Legal Grounds Cafe and met with some of the Doroshow, Pasquale, Krawitz & Bhaya staff.
Jennings is running in the Democratic primary race to become Delaware’s attorney general. Jennings served as chief deputy attorney general at the Delaware Department of Justice under former Attorney General Charles Oberly. In November 2011, then-Attorney General Beau Biden asked Jennings to return to the Delaware DOJ to serve as state prosecutor, supervising criminal prosecution statewide, according to Jennings’ election website. Under Biden’s leadership, Jennings formed the Crime Strategies Unit, whose focus was to work directly in areas with high incidences of violent crime, according to the site.
