Mary Ann Plankinton, a partner at the law firm Gawthrop Greenwood, was named chair of the firm’s Wilmington-area office.
Licensed in Delaware and Pennsylvania and with more than 20 years’ experience, Plankinton joined the firm in 2015 and has a multi-jurisdictional practice focusing on family law, including divorce, support, custody and adoption; as well as estate planning and estate administration. In addition, she is a trained mediator and has mediated cases in Pennsylvania and Delaware for family law disputes and estate matters. Representative cases include divorce matters involving family businesses, custody relocation, grandparent rights, will contests, guardianships and challenges to accountings.
