Elliott Greenleaf’s Rafael X. Zahralddin-Aravena and Eric M. Sutty were speakers for the National Association of Credit Management Northwest’s National Apparel and Footwear Credit Association meeting Sept. 22 in Nashville. The presentation was titled, “Preparing for Retail Bankruptcies 2017.”
This presentation provided an overview of one of the most pragmatic uses of the Chapter 11 process, the thriving distressed mergers and acquisitions market in bankruptcy.
Zahralddin is chair of the firm’s national commercial bankruptcy and restructuring practice and a founding shareholder of the Delaware office. Zahralddin is a business lawyer who concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, entity formation and international and comparative law.
Sutty focuses his practice on corporate bankruptcy, creditor rights and commercial litigation. His experience includes the representation of debtors and creditors committees, secured lenders, unsecured creditors, trustees and post confirmation estates.
