At the 43rd annual meeting of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys in Asheville, North Carolina, Potter Anderson & Corroon partner Joy Barrist participated on a panel titled “From the Ground Up—Selected Issues in Construction Lending.”

She discussed legal issues that are specific to construction lending, including hot-button issues in construction loan agreements; agreements with design professionals, bonding companies and other third parties; construction disbursements and lien waivers; construction guaranty issues; and title underwriting and endorsements.
