Dominion Voting Systems on Tuesday filed three new defamation lawsuits against One America News Network, Newsmax and former Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne over their efforts to promote the false conspiracy theory that the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump.

The complaints, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia as well as Delaware Superior Court, are the latest action taken by Dominion’s attorneys with Clare Locke and Susman Godfrey against those who alleged the voting company rigged the election against Trump and for President Joe Biden, despite no evidence of fraud. Rodney Smolla, the dean of the Delaware Law School at Widener University and a well-known First Amendment attorney, is also named as counsel for Dominion on the complaints. Each lawsuit seeks $1.6 billion in damages.
