McDonald’s Corp., which is engaged in litigation in Delaware, has announced in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that general counsel Jerome Krulewitch will retire effective immediately following a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis.

The filing, posted earlier this month, indicates that a search for Krulewitch’s successor is underway. The Chicago-based company’s U.S. general counsel, Mahrukh Hussain, will serve as the company’s interim general counsel.
