Thomas Horan is among the scheduled speakers at the 14th annual Mid-Atlantic Bankruptcy Workshop, taking place Aug. 2-5 at the Hotel Hershey in Pennsylvania.
Presented by the American Bankruptcy Institute, the event features three days of networking and content.
Horan is set to speak Aug. 3 at an 8 a.m. plenary session focused on the sovereign citizen movement and the intersection of that movement with bankruptcy. He will address commonly held beliefs of sovereign citizens, law enforcement’s views on the movement and some of the issues that have arisen in bankruptcy cases. Resident in Fox Rothschild’s Wilmington office, Horan joined Fox Rothschild through a merger with Shaw Fishman Glantz & Towbin, a 23-attorney firm with practices in bankruptcy, commercial litigation and real estate.
