Jeffrey M. Schlerf, partner with Fox Rothschild, spoke on two panels at the American Bar Association business law section’s spring meeting held in Orlando, Florida.
Schlerf took part in the “Recent Developments in Business Litigation With Perspectives From the Bench” and “Hoop Dreams and Shoe Schemes: Where Is the Internal Governance in College Athletics?” panels.
In the first program, Schlerf spoke on 2017 developments in the areas of domestic and international sports-related disputes, including doping and performance enhancing drug scandals, concussion litigation and the U.S. Supreme Court’s pending decision related to state-authorized sports betting. In the second program, Schlerf moderated a panel of speakers discussing the recent indictments of National Collegiate Athletic Association basketball coaches, an Adidas executive and others.
