The National Business Institute is set to host “Estate Administration From Start to Finish” from 8:30 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. July 24 at the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino.

Wilmington-based Kathy DeLacy, partner in Reger Rizzo & Darnall’s estates and trusts group, and a panel of colleagues are set to present “Estate Administration From Start to Finish” in conjunction with the National Business Institute.

The full-day program will provide attendees with a step-by-step guide to estate administration and is designed for attorneys who are new to estate administration or need a basic refresher course. The seminar will provide attendees with an overview of estate administration, including proper asset valuation and distribution, taxation, and account closing procedures, said Reger Rizzo in a press release. The presenters will also discuss how to deal with common problems found in the estate administration process, including debt issues, jointly held assets, business ownership and complex tax issues.

DeLacy has been assisting businesses and individuals located throughout Delaware for more than 16 years. She began working at Reger Rizzo in the winter of 2012, forming the Delaware estates and trust department. She has experience offering estate planning, estate and trust administration and probate services as well as elder law assistance, including asset protection planning for long-term care.
