Blank Rome announced that the Delaware Law School Transactional Law Honor Society will advance to the 2018 National Transactional LawMeet championships, an interscholastic competition for law students interested in transactional practice, after recently winning Best Draft Purchase Agreement and first place overall in the mid-Atlantic competition.
Blank Rome associate Peter I. Tsoflias, who founded TLHS in 2011, and associate Michael S. Swoyer, who was a member of TLHS’ executive board, helped coach the team in this year’s competition.
In addition, the firm annually hosts a training session for the team in the Philadelphia office where Blank Rome attorneys discuss the transactional practice, generally, and provide members with guidance and training in the corporate transactional field.
At Blank Rome, Tsoflias represents business entity clients in connection with day-to-day corporate and commercial affairs and major transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint venture formations and project financings. Swoyer represents clients in connection with a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions and advises clients on issues related to the governance of corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships.
