On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I wish to extend condolences to the family, colleagues and many friends of longtime Atlanta attorney Elizabeth E. “Betsey” Neely on her recent passing.
During her extraordinary career of more than five decades, Ms. Neely earned her reputation as a highly skilled practicing attorney and also served as associate vice chancellor for the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, during which time she developed a statewide conflict resolution program that became a worldwide model.
