Divorcing parents often disagree over custody of their children. Judges are responsible for deciding with whom and on what terms the children of a divorce will live and visit. To determine the children’s best interests, especially in high conflict cases, judges frequently ask for the assistance of a Guardian ad Litem. In Fulton County, when the family involved cannot afford a Guardian, the court will appoint a volunteer who is supervised and supported by AVLF.

This vital program takes money to operate. All of the money raised at this event will directly support AVLF’s Guardian ad Litem program.
