Following a week of trial, a Gwinnett Country jury worked until the wee hours to award $3.8 million to a woman whose foot was injured when a chair fell over at a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Douglasville.
“This was an iffy case because the mechanism was weird; you wouldn’t think just having a chair fall on your foot could do so much damage,” said plaintiffs attorney Lloyd Bell.
