The Georgia Association for Women Lawyers on Thursday night celebrated the past year’s accomplishments, honored some of its members and passed the torch to a new leader.

Laurie Vickery Benesh was sworn in as the group’s president for the coming year. A solo plaintiff’s personal injury lawyer in Atlanta, Benesh takes over for Cindy Manning, a litigator in Peachtree City.
