Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens’ appearance Wednesday morning before a gaggle of reporters and lawyers quickly turned to a probe of Olens’ thoughts on the constitutionality of the state’s ban on same-sex marriage and his future political plans.

Olens responded to questions about his defense of the state’s same-sex marriage ban, and other controversial laws, by reiterating past comments that he has no discretion to decide which state laws to defend and that his defense of laws doesn’t reflect his personal opinion on policy.
