After removing Christian Coomer from the Georgia Court of Appeals bench last year, the Supreme Court of Georgia has greenlighted his return to the practice of law beginning in August 2025.
In an order issued Tuesday, the high court accepted Coomer's amended petition for a voluntary two-year suspension nunc pro tunc to the Aug. 16, 2023, date of his removal from judicial office.
