The Georgia Court of Appeals has affirmed a $35 million wrongful-death verdict awarded against the City of Milton in June 2023. Jurors awarded the eight-figure outcome to the parents of a college student killed in 2016 after driving into an 8-foot concrete planter along the shoulder of Milton's Batesville Road.
