The Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit could be up for a name change this year after a bill proposing to rename it the DeKalb Judicial Circuit successfully made it out of the House Judiciary Committee Tuesday.
The bill’s sponsor, Billy Mitchell, D-Stone Mountain, said, “All the judges of the Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit requested this bill.”
