The retrial of a former Atlanta attorney convicted of murdering his wife has been nixed.
Claud Lee ”Tex” McIver III had been facing felony murder and aggravated assault charges, but pleaded guilty to lesser charges Friday morning. After reaching a plea deal with prosecutors, McIver agreed to involuntary manslaughter and reckless conduct charges.
