A federal investigative report into a deadly gas leak at a Georgia poultry plant won’t affect the litigation tied to the incident since all those cases have settled, but it could impact the company accused of causing it, representatives of both sides of the lawsuits said.
On Monday, the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board (CSB) announced on its website that it had released its final investigation report on the Jan. 28, 2021, incident that claimed the lives of six workers and injured nearly 50 others.
