An Alabama law firm is making sure responsibility for recruiting a more diverse workforce starts at the top, despite recent threats by activists to use the courts to end diversity efforts at firms nationwide.
Midsize litigation firm Lightfoot, Franklin & White added oversight of its diversity initiatives to chief operating officer Edgar Harper’s job responsibilities at the Birmingham-based firm.
