The Georgia Court of Appeals followed a trial court’s lead in agreeing with a man who claimed his arresting officer based his traffic stop on unwarranted suspicion.
After defendant William Glanton was indicted on counts of drug possession and driving with a suspended license, he filed a motion to dismiss on grounds that the arresting officer did not have an articulate suspicion to enter a second-tier detention.
