The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission sued Ann Dishinger, Jerrold I. Palmer and Lawrence M. Palmer Monday in Georgia Northern District Court over insider trading violations. The case accuses Dishinger of tipping off Lawrence M. Palmer, her romantic partner, to non-public information about Equifax’s Sept. 2017 data breach. According to the suit, Dishinger worked as a finance manager at a PR firm engaged by Equifax’s attorneys. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:22-cv-03258, Securities and Exchange Commission v. Dishinger et al.
