Family Dollar has turned to attorney Alexander Dewitt Weatherby of Weatherby Law Firm as defense counsel in a pending personal injury lawsuit. The complaint was filed June 17 in Georgia Northern District Court by Brown Barnwell PC on behalf of Jacqueline Henderson, who contends that she was injured after a Family Dollar employee crashed into her while operating a mechanical/motorized vehicle. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Steve C. Jones, is 1:22-cv-02424, Henderson v. Family Dollar Stores of Georgia.
