Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders sued the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority Tuesday in Georgia Northern District Court on behalf of RailWorks Track Systems, a provider of railroad construction and maintenance services. The suit accuses MARTA of failing to compensate the plaintiff for costs incurred as a result of delays and interruptions in a track renovation project. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:22-cv-02834, RailWorks Track Systems LLC v. Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority.
