While the U.S. Senate and governor’s seats have dominated the spotlight in Tuesday’s primary election, the ballot also includes many races involving lawyers across the state.

Georgia’s top prosecutor, the attorney general, is on the line, with incumbent Chris Carr facing John Gordon in the Republican primary, and Jen Jordan jostling with Christian Wise Smith in the Democratic primary. The winner of each primary, plus Libertarian Martin Cowen, will meet in the November general election.
