Akerman filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit Tuesday in Georgia Northern District Court on behalf of blockchain-focused investment firm Unibright Ventures GmBh, and its subsidiary Unibright IT GmBh. The complaint accuses blockchain software vendor Provide Technologies Inc. of selling a $1 million UBT token in breach of its executed collaboration agreement and seeks at least $100,000 for unpaid convertible promissory notes. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:22-cv-00643, Unibright Ventures GmBh et al v. Provide Technologies Inc.
