Lawyers appearing for voir dire within the Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit will no longer have to layer up first. Thanks to a recent award of federal grant money, the circuit is relocating jury selection from the Columbus Ice Rink to a larger, and notably warmer, venue.

“We were selecting juries in here in July, wearing ski caps,” said Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Gil McBride.
