With many law firms bringing back in-person elements to their summer associate programs in 2021, law students who spent their summer with Atlanta’s Am Law 200 firms largely walked away pleased with their experience, according to The American Lawyer’s Summer Associates Survey. After a fully virtual 2020 program, summer associates welcomed in-person activities—and showed their support with high marks for their firms.

Among the 71 firms included in the national rankings as part of the survey, Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton was the only Atlanta-based firm, placing 49th with an average score of 4.652 out of 5, based on responses from the firm’s summer associates.
