Gannett Media, Sinclair Broadcast Group and other broadcast companies were hit with a complaint Friday in Georgia Middle District Court. The suit was filed pro se by Anthony Oliver, an inmate at Wilcox State Prison serving a 20-year sentence for aggravated stalking. Oliver accuses the defendants of refusing to feature fair and balanced reports about his run for mayor of Savannah due to political bias. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 5:21-cv-00361, Oliver v. Nexstar Broadcasting Inc. et al.
