An Emory University law professor who is President Joe Biden’s pick for a vacant seat on the Commodity Futures Trading Commission reported earning a $205,813 salary from the school, according to her financial disclosure.

Kristin Johnson, who joined the Emory faculty at the beginning of 2021, specializes in financial market risk management and complex financial products. Prior to joining Emory, Johnson was an associate dean and law professor at Tulane University, where she reported a salary of $258,720, according to her financial disclosure released Wednesday.
