Trouble is brewing in South Georgia after an Ogeechee Judicial Circuit judge held an attorney in police custody without first conducting a contempt hearing.
Now Bulloch County Superior Court Judge Michael T. Muldrew has been asked to recuse himself from two proceedings: the felony murder case of William Marcus “Marc” Wilson in connection with the June 14, 2020, shooting death of Haley Hutcheson; and from deciding whether Wilson’s defense attorney, Francys Johnson, is guilty of contempt.
