Eversheds Sutherland has named its first U.S. chief operating officer to promote coordination across the global firm’s departments, with a particular emphasis on the firm’s use of technology moving forward. Dwight Floyd, who has served as the firm’s U.S. chief pricing and value officer since 2019, will fill the newly created role.

Floyd joined Eversheds in 2017 after serving as manager of legal project management at Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart and was a partner and director of knowledge management with Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein prior to that. He officially starts his position as COO on Sept. 1.
